Every woman has her own image of what it means to be a SUPERwoman. But spending ten years building a career and raising children with all the commitment, determination and resilience you’ve got, comes at a cost. At 40+ you are left with a wilted body and a stressed-out mind.
Rediscovering your own goals, strength, and drive is my expertise. Through functional training and my own unique method you will have the ability to look at yourself in the mirror and see the Superwoman you once were: carry two bags of groceries, move the furniture around without help, pick up a child of 7 above your head with ease, or push the car off the road when it’s broken down. Strength training and muscle memory built during my tailor-made programs will translate into the perfect technique to do all this and more without injury.
With a background in physically challenging sports from Classical Ballet, to Thai Kickboxing, to CrossFit, I am Alison Katz, a seasoned personal fitness trainer and owner of Take.Charge.Fitness.
My passion is mentoring women in their 40s and early 50s to redefine what it means to be strong and independent. I have the added experience of a back injury that left me overweight, pre-diabetic, and thinking I would never lift weights ever again. I’d be lucky if I could even walk. But I did. Today I lift, run, climb, push and pull more than I ever did pre-injury. A certified fitness trainer from Campus Siim, Tel Aviv University, I have this message for you: you can come back from anything, and with the 3 main values ingrained in our DNA – commitment, determination and resilience – I promise you that with the right training you can be stronger, healthier, and a bigger badass than ever before.
